Step through a Delirium Mirror in Path of Exile 2 0.5.0 and the map stops being a normal clear. The fog rolls in, packs get meaner, and your build has to prove it can move while still killing fast. You'll feel it almost at once. Damage starts dropping off, extra monsters crowd the screen, and every pause costs you. Later progression points toward Raven's Shard and Tangmazu, where the reflected boss pressure gets much more serious. So, yes, you need speed. But you also need real single-target damage.
Building for the FogA good Delirium character has to sit in the middle ground. Too slow, and the fog leaves you behind. Too fragile, and one bad rare deletes you. Too focused on bossing, and the map clear feels awful. The best setup has movement, recovery, reliable area damage, and enough burst for bosses when they appear. It's also worth keeping your loot filter strict, because stopping too often ruins the whole point of the encounter.
